What’s the difference between a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator?
A venue coordinator’s main job is to take care of the overall venue and answer venue questions. Generally they will help with parking, liability, and general expectations for the venue. A wedding coordinator “puts out fires” so to speak, on the day of. We help with the timeline, coordinating vendors, orchestrate set up and tear down, and make sure your personal items are taken care of. Primarily, our main job is to take care of the couple and make sure it’s a stress free environment for you and your guests to enjoy.
Can I afford a wedding planner?
Honestly, I believe that having a wedding planner will actually save you money in the long run. Whatever your budget, there are smart ways we can help you spend effectively to have the day of your dreams. We know the best vendors for your budget, what pieces can be rented, and even ways to re-purpose decor. We also offer payment plans for all of our couples!
I have an aunt who is planning my wedding, that’s enough…right??
As helpful as your friends and family will be in aspects of the planning process, they want to enjoy your day too! They’ll either be too busy to attend the wedding, or not take it seriously and leave room for wedding day hiccups.
How involved will my wedding planner be?
As much or as little as you want us to be! It’s totally up to our couples. Sometimes they have it all figured out and just want us to be there on the day of to keep everything running, or sometimes the couple wants to relax and have us do it all. We do each end and everything in between!
