COVID-19 and Your Wedding
We understand how having a world wide pandemic while trying to plan a wedding can be stressful. And let us be the first to say we’re sorry this is happening during what is supposed to be one of the most joyous times of your life. It’s okay to grieve that! But know that no matter how your wedding looks like, we are here for you.
How to make a decision on your wedding?
Five months out: have a discussion with your S.O. about what a Plan B would look like for you. Same venue but smaller guest list? Small ceremony and celebrate later?
Three to four months out: gather data. What are the venues/vendors saying? What guidelines are in place for the county? What fees would you incur?
Talk to your VIPs: your family and bridal party mainly. If you’re starting to think about implementing Plan B, you’ll want to know who is available or comfortable with coming.
About 6-8 weeks out, it’s decision time. This gives your guests enough time to plan and this way you don’t have to hold on to anything closer to the original wedding date.
As of 5/22/20, our local county will be in the “yellow phase”. This means that large gatherings over 25 people are prohibited, with social distancing still intact.
