Thankful.

It's been just under a year as Patchwork Planning, and I couldn't imagine a better first year, with the best clients, and working with the best vendors.

Seriously, it's been a blast - and it's only just begun. I can't thank you enough for trusting me to come alongside you on your wedding day. It has been a joy to coordinate over 10 weddings this year, many graduation parties, and even a jaw-dropping baby shower. There are things we are continuing to learn, tweak, and grow from, not only is that in part to our couples, but an incredible vendor community I have been a part of.

Your vendors can really be a part of making, or breaking your wedding. That's why it's so important to find vendors that you connect with. Not only is this important as a couple, but I'm finding it extremely valuable as a planner. Networking is a huge part of my job. I was at a conference last week in Florida and one of the statistics read was that 40% of your business will come from referrals! I am so grateful to have surrounded myself with vendors that not only would I gladly recommend to my couples, but I just love to work with.

I just want to take a moment to give some shout outs to some of my friends. From our ongoing emoji texts, to seeing an incredible example of a mom, Wendy Zook Photography is an exceptional person (and photographer). Seneca (who own's Seneca's Bridal and Photography by Seneca) never ceases to amaze me with her talent, kindness, and smile that truly radiates joy. Kelley Spurlock Photography thinks outside the box, and we need more of that. I'm always in awe of her blogs, rad weddings, and fun photos of her family. I'm so honored, and proud to know Renee and Derek of Forget Me Not Vintage Rentals. Renee is a one of a kind stylist, combined with their rentals, every wedding we have done has been made more beautiful because of them. Peculiar Culinary Company has blown my mind with the quality of their food (my husbands favorite salmon, chicken and waffles, etc), not to mention the extra fun they bring to the table, with their incredible team. Sarah of Flourish Grace Calligraphy is so ridiculously talented (as in, each time I see her work I shake my head because she is so incredible). Kelly of Lavender Linens is not only a constant inspiration of ideas and community, but our go to linen lady. And last but not least Monzie's Floral Design in Tunkhannock, my oh my. Monica goes above and beyond, every single time. No doubt she is my number one recommended florist in our local area.

Of course there are so many more incredible vendors we've gotten to work with at some absolutely beautiful venues. Thankfully no matter what your style, or your location there are some A+ vendors in the area that are just waiting to work with you.

I also just want to mention how thankful I am for my husband and family. Evan joined me on many weddings this year, and sacrificed many weekends. My parents are the best grandparents to our bulldog Stacy that we could ever ask for as Stacy spent many weekends over their house.

Thank you again, for your continued support. Every share, every like, every comment, or encouraging message does not go unnoticed. Evan and I wish you the best this Thanksgiving, and always.

Blessings,
